Available in black and satin. These are genuine Cliff K1C parts that were used on the classic EMS range of british synths such as the VCS3 and Synthi-A.
Cliff no longer produce the knobs with coloured inserts, Satin or Black only.
These knobs have a 6.35mm /0.25″ shaft with set screw.
The Synth Pointer style will be very familiar to fans of Synth Tech, Pittsburgh Modular, Rebel Tech and L-1 modules. They have a 6.4mm / 0.25″ shaft with setscrew and the same sturdy brass insert as the 1900h clones.
The ‘small’ knob was previously referred to as the ‘SynthTech’ style knob.
This is the exact same knob that RYO ship with kits.

The Black (D) part has been specially manufactured to fit correctly on new style Make Noise modules. The Rogan knobs on Make Noise modules have a round hole for around 7mm of the knob shaft before it turns to a D shaft. This means that other manufacturers D shaft 1900h clones will sit no closer than 7mm off the surface of a Make Noise panel. Note the pointer orientation on these means they are not suitable for all D-Shaft pots, see diagram below, the pointer is on the curved side of the D.

Taking Knob DIY to the next level!
These are the same brass inserts with M3 setscrew that you find inside our high quality Davies 1900h clone knobs. They are designed for a 6.4mm pot shaft.
You can use these to make one-off or small runs of knobs out of any material you like. Wood, Sugru, 3D Printed… it’s up to you.
You could also just use them as small knobs if you like how they look. Note the screw does extend outside the body of the insert when fully tightened on a pot shaft.
Drawing dimensions in mm.
These knobs are reminiscent of the classic Dunlop MXR knobs but are styled with a crisper and more refined moulded edge. These are the perfect companion for the Thonk 1900h clones and made from the same colour stocks for a perfect match.
Initially we will be stocking in the tasteful and popular Black, Dark Grey and Dark Red styles, although we may expand to the more garish colour options of the 1900h knobs if demand is there!
They have a 6.4mm shaft with setscrew and the same sturdy brass insert as the 1900h clones.
The skirt of the knob is 25mm/1″, the smaller diameter is 20mm /0.8″ and the height is 15mm / 0.6″

All PCB sets include the Micro SD Card slot component FREE
This is not a full kit, if you want a full kit go here.
This is the only hard to find component required for Radio Music. Note you still need to purchase an MicroSD card! The very cheap $1 type cards are not worth the trouble they will cause you, we highly recommend SanDisk MicroSD cards. Easily available from any camera or computer stores, eBay or Amazon etc.
Full project details and documentation here – http://github.com/TomWhitwell/RadioMusic/
NOTE – you need to purchase a MicroSD card and a Micro-B USB Cable elsewhere to set up this module. The Micro-B cables are the smallest type shipped with Kindles and many Android phones. You also need a card reader to write files to the SD card, many laptops and desktops already have them built in now. – Read the setup and build documentation here.

Shaft Diameter – 6.35mm (0.25″)
Shaft Length – 15mm (0.59″)
These are the pots that are included with 95% of all Thonk produced kits and specced by many manufacturers. These pots work great with all the 6.35mm round shaft knobs we sell.
These pots are perfect for Music Thing Modular, Synthrotek, RYO, Manhattan Analog, Fonitronik, Frequency Central (FCUK) & HexInverter projects where 9mm pots are specced… but do double check as there are a few exceptions. They are not the first choice for panel-wiring… but we do have Pot Chicklets coming soon to redress that balance!
We love these pots, they feel smooth and precise and have got a strong following for a good reason. One thing that always annoyed us was that annoying little anti-rotation tag that you have to cut or break off, so unlike other distributors we got them manufactured without that tag. Also removing the nut and washer on each pot to build something like a 64 pot sequencer panel can get REALLY tedious, so again unlike other distributors we include the nut and washer bagged separately. It only save 20 seconds per pot maybe, but it adds up!

These are the exact knobs used on recent Intellijel modules. (Shapeshifter, Metropolis, Atlantis, SpringRay etc.)
They are manufactured by Sifam (in the US distributed by Selco).
Both sizes of knobs are available in D-Shaft and T18 shaft types.
The Cap comes separate from the pot body so the orientation of the pointer to the D-shaft can be set at any angle (e.g. you can choose either zero degrees or 180 degrees, which are both typical). The body and cap colours are an identical match to Intellijel colours.
These knobs are not an Intellijel product and are not sourced via Intellijel.
The panel shown below is the Cwejman RES-4 alternative panel from Grayscale.
These PT range knobs are made in the USA by Rogan, they are not official Mutable Instruments or Make Noise products, but are the same style from the same factory.
Refer to the Rogan data sheet Rogan to check dimensions and other information.
Please NOTE: You remove existing knobs from your modules at your own risk, don’t force them! Also please check what shaft types you need first BEFORE ordering. Module manufacturers do not always consistently use a certain shaft type, they may change between D or T18 for example.
